7月20日，来自美国、澳大利亚、巴基斯坦、尼泊尔、孟加拉等8个国家的10多位外国专家应邀参加了由广西壮族自治区科学技术厅外国专家服务与引进智力处主办、桂林科学技术局和南宁市美洲翻译服务有限责任公司承办的“中华文化驿站之桂林侗族银饰及油茶文化体验”活动。

On July 20, over 10 foreign experts from 8 countries such as the United States, Australia, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh were invited to attend the event of “Chinese Culture Post — Experiencing Silver Ornament and Oil-boiled Tea Culture of the Dong Minority People in Guilin”, which was sponsored by the Division of Foreign Experts Affairs and Foreign Intellects Introduction of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and organized by the Bureau of Science and Technology of Guilin in cooperation with Nanning America Translation Co., Ltd.

活动期间，外国专家们参观了大银工坊侗族文化博物馆，聆听了银饰文化知识讲座并亲身体验了手工打制银饰和打油茶。尽管天气炎热,外国专家们仍然兴致盎然，热情不减，表现出对中华文化的热爱和传统银饰手工技艺及油茶文化的惊叹。

During this event, foreign experts visited the Dong Culture Museum of Grand Silversmith Workshop, listened to the lectures on silver ornament, and experienced at first hand the making of silver ornament and oil-boiled tea. Despite the hot weather, foreign experts were full of interest and enthusiasm, showing their love for Chinese culture and marveling at the traditional silver ornament craftsmanship and oil-boiled tea culture.

在参观大银工坊侗族文化博物馆环节，讲解员向外国专家介绍了侗族鼓楼、风雨桥、侗族大歌、侗族服饰、侗族银饰等侗族文化元素。在银饰展示区，讲解员通过对神秘古老的银器和做工精细的银饰的介绍，让外国专家了解到了银饰在侗族文化中的重要地位。

During the visit to the Dong Culture Museum of Grand Silversmith Workshop, the interpreter introduced the cultural elements of Dong people to foreign experts, such as Drum Towers, Wind and Rain Bridge, costumes, silver ornament, etc. In the exhibition area of silver ornament, the interpreter presented the mysterious and ancient silverware and silver ornament of fine workmanship, letting the visitors know about the importance of silver ornament in Dong Culture.

在银饰文化艺术讲座上，来自桂林旅游学院艺术设计学院的阳梦祥院长为外国专家讲解了侗族银器的历史发展及艺术演变等相关知识。

In the lecture on culture and art of silver ornament, Yang Mengxiang, Dean of Art and Design College of Guilin Tourism College, explained the historical development and artistic evolution of Dong silverware to foreign experts.

在银饰打制体验环节，外国专家在工艺美术大师杨焕龙的指导下，亲身体验了银饰的锻打、打磨、抛光等整套制作工序。通过对手工打制银器的多种技法的了解、观摩和实践，外国专家们感受到了侗族银匠的精湛技艺和广西少数民族银饰文化的神奇魅力。

With the instruction of Yang Huanlong, master of handicrafts, foreign experts experienced the whole process of making silver ornament. Through the understanding, observation and practice of various techniques of making silver ware by hand, foreign experts marveled at the exquisite skills of Silversmiths of Dong and felt the magic charm of silverware culture of Guangxi.

在体验打油茶及自由交流环节中，外国专家们仔细聆听了油茶师傅讲解油茶文化，在师傅的指导下亲手打制油茶，并品尝了极具特色的灌阳油茶。

In the process of experiencing oil-boiled tea making and communication, foreign experts listened carefully to the explanation of the culture of oil-boiled tea. They also made oil-boiled tea themselves under instructions of masters and tasted the most distinctive oil-boiled tea of Guan Yang.

通过这次文化体验活动，外国专家对广西侗族的银饰文化、具有桂林特色的油茶文化及风土人情有了更近距离的了解和体会。在自由交流环节中，外国专家纷纷表示对这次活动的内容和形式非常满意，体验感强，非常有特色，有很大的收获，希望今后能继续参与此类活动。

Through this event, foreign experts further understand and experience the culture embodied in silver ornament with the characteristics of the Dong people, the special oil-boiled tea culture of Guilin, as well as local customs. They also expressed their satisfaction with the content and form of this activity, which brought them immersive experience with special features. They said that they had learned a lot and hoped to participate in activities of this kind in the future.

 “中华文化驿站之桂林侗族银饰及油茶文化体验”活动，旨在让外国专家感受中国传统文化的深厚底蕴，进一步了解中国文化和广西的风土人情，打造外国专家感受中国传统文化魅力的重要平台。

The activity aims to show the profound connotation of traditional Chinese culture and local customs of Guangxi to foreign experts, and create an important platform for foreign experts to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
